Chuchupate Campground
Pinyon pine shaded camp, Recreational Vehicles up to 24 feet. There are 29 campsites.
The Chuchupate Campground is managed by the Parks Management Company for the Forest Service. $30/night for camping.
In campgrounds and picnic areas, dogs mst be kept on a leash. Dogs must wear a collar with current tags at all times, as state and county laws apply on National Forest System lands.
Reservations: 22 campsites are on the reservation system www.recreation.gov or by call 1-877-444-6777. (7 ) sites are first-come, first-serve.

- Availability is released from Fri, May 1st 2026 through Wed, May 27th 2026. Select dates for availability.
- On November 28, 2025 at 07:00 AM PST, availability will be released through May 28, 2026.

Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Quiet Hours: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Interagency Senior and Acess Passes provide pass holders with 50% off of camping fees - not valid for day use or extra vehicle parking fee.

- Fires are allowed only in designated fire rings.
- Pack out what you pack in and Leave No Trace!
- Dogs MUST be on a leash not longer than six feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control [36 CFR 261.16(j)]. Read more info about pet ethics.

Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night
Additional Weekend or Holiday Fee: $2 per night

From Los Angeles: Take I-5 north past the Gorman exit to Frazier Mountain Park Road exit. Go west on Frazier Mountain Park Road for 7 miles to the intersection of Lockwood Valley Road. Turn left and proceed 3 miles to Frazier Mountain Road (FS 8N04). Proceed 3 miles past the Chuchupate Ranger Station.
