PCT Carter Meadows Trailhead

Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) feeder trail from Carter Meadows. Follow Carter Creek upslope to meet up with the PCT.

This dispersed area is generally seasonally open to the public, except if under a closure order. The area is not maintained, use at your discretion.

General Information

This trailhead is usually open June through October, although not regularly maintained. It may be inaccessible during winter months due to snow and weather. 

Campfires in fire rings or portable cookstoves only with valid CA campfire permit; no camping within 100' of water bodies; pack out trash; dogs must be on leash.
