Deer Creek Trailhead North

Deer Creek North Trail follows Deer Creek to the south into the heart of the Ishi Wilderness, where it connects with other trails. The best access is from Ponderosa Way. Due to continuing ecological processes, Ponderosa Way in that area is only accessible by a narrow, high clearance 4x4 vehicle. Please check snow levels before planning your visit.
