Happy Camp/Oak Knoll Ranger District Road Closures

PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT: Various roads across the Happy Camp/Oak Knoll Ranger District are currently closed due to dangerous road conditions. Road hazards include road slips (roads sliding down mountainsides), rockslides, downed trees, and washouts (roads blocked due to debris flow). Staff have been working to clear and open roads as quickly as possible, but certain roads have sustained significant damage that can't be repaired quickly. Road slips are the most hazardous as the affected roads have been narrowed to one lane or less and the road base could be unstable when vehicles traverse what's left of the road. Staff are currently putting up signs on closed roads.

Please avoid the following CLOSED roads:

• 18N33 Powerline Rd to Poker Flat

• 48D Powerline Access Rd heading South from West Branch

• 18N31 Powerline Rd heading North of West Branch

• 17N32 South Fork Rd

• 15N06 Stanza Rd

• 46N65 Walker to Lake Mtn

Additionally, trailers not recommended beyond 15N10 on 16N05 Elk Creek Rd.
