Grayback Road Construction

Starting July 16th, a contractor for Federal Highways will begin work repairing the slump on Grayback Road (FH-48) at Granite Creek, where the road shoulder has dropped roughly 6ft vertically. 

Work will include the repair of an existing mechanically-stabilized wall and the construction of an additional wall to support the road. Due to the construction, the road will be limited to one lane and there will be traffic control present. Drivers should expect delays. The project is slated to last roughly 2 months based on a proposed construction schedule.
