Gerle Creek Area

Gerle Creek was named for two brothers who were early settlers and farmers in the region. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking and fishing are some of the fun things to do on the creek. Common fish species include brown and rainbow trout. An accessible fishing dock is located at Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir. Airport Flat Campground is a favorite staging area for OHV recreationists with ingress to the Rubicon 4WD Trail and OHV accessible roads. South Fork Group Campground is also nearby. There are two seasonal campgrounds and two day use sites in this area.
