Summit Trail #113

Beginning at Access #2, the trail follows the top of a long ridge that divides the Nebo Creek drainage from the Pole Creek drainage. The trail begins by winding through an aspen grove, after which it intersects with the end of Sawmill-Nebo Creek Trail #130. From this point the trail follows the crest of the ridge, passing through occasional stands of conifers and aspen. there are some places where the trail drops down into saddles and then climbs up the other side again; however this portion of the trail is fairly level. Approximately 2 1/2 miles from the trailhead there is a fence across the trail. Please be sure to close the gate after you have passed through it. Shortly after this point there is a sign indicating the head of Page Fork. Page Fork Trail #088, has been relocated from this drainage to the east drainage. It now connects with Summit Trail approximately 1 1/2 miles before it turns sharply to the west going down into Pole Canyon. There is a short, steep descent into Pole Canyon soon after which you arrive at the trailhead.

Connecting Trails: Page Fork Trail #088, Sawmill Nebo Creek Trail #130.
