Slide Canyon Trail #062

Slide Canyon is the primary access to the “Y” Monument, and it is heavily used by the local community. At the top of the “Y”, the trail becomes a narrow single track trail that traverses varied terrain. After 3.4 miles, the trail connects in with the Slate Canyon trail #061. The Slide Canyon trail continues 1.1 miles to connect with Squaw Peak Road.

Access: 
From I-15 exit #265, head east on Center St. toward 1000 W St. At the traffic circle, continue straight onto Center St, and turn left onto 900 E St. Turn right onto 820 N St, and continue onto Oakmont Ln. Turn right onto Oak Cliff Dr., and take another right to stay on Oak Cliff Dr. Turn right at Terrace Dr, then turn left and right into the Parking lot; park only in designated spots.
