Directions
The northern trailhead is 11 miles south of Payson on the Mount Nebo National Scenic Byway (Nebo Loop road, #015). From I-15, take the North Payson/Benjamin exit (currently exit #254; after autumn 2004 the exit number will change to #250). Travel south on Main Street to 100 North and turn left (east). Continue east to 600 East and turn right (south) for approximately 3 1/2 miles to the mouth of Payson Canyon (the beginning of the Nebo Loop). There is a large gravel parking lot across the road from the trailhead. The southern end of the trail is also located on the Nebo Loop, about 3 miles further up the road before the turnoff for Blackhawk Campground.
