Adams Canyon Trail #614

USGS Quad - Kaysville and Peterson. Elevation gain is a little over 1,000 feet. Leashed pets are permitted. Major destinations include Falls, Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Great Western Trail. Trail junctions include Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Great Western Trail. This trail is maintained as a primitive route once it crosses the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and climbs to a scenic cascade or falls. Beyond the falls, the trail is difficult to follow. You will travel through a series of cliff areas as it meanders to the ridge and intersects with the Great Western Trail.

Directions

Travel north on Highway 89 and take the first right past Oakhills Road (Layton City Water Tank). Take another right (south) on the frontage road. Park at the end of pavement at fenced off reservoir. Trail starts on north side of the reservoir. This trail has good access to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
