DEVELOPED GROUP RECREATION PERMIT

SPECIAL ORDER OF FOREST SUPERVISOR

WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FORESTS

Salt Lake Ranger District

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited in the areas described in this order, all within the Wasatch-Cache National Forest, from the period November 15 through April 30 until further notice:

1. Camping without a permit at Spruce's Campground and Jordan Pines Group Campground. [36 CFR 261.58 (e)]
2. Occupying campsites by groups larger than 25 persons.[36 CFR 2 61.58 (f)]
3. Camping in Tanners, Albion Basin, and Redman Campgrounds. [36 CFR 261. 58 (e)]

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (e), the following acts, or persons, are exempt from this order:

1. Persons with a permit or contract authorizing the otherwise prohibited act.
2. Authorized Federal, state, or local officers, or members of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of official duty, when authorized by the District Ranger.

Areas Described:

Big Cottonwood Canyon: Spruces Campground, Jordan Pines Group Campground Redman Campground

Little Cottonwood Canyon: Tanners Campground, Albion Basin Campground
