Leadore Region
This area is bounded by the peaks and ridgelines of the Lemhi and Beaverhead Mountain ranges and includes all the drainages down to the Lemhi River, flowing north from its source near Gilmore and Meadow Lake. This area is administered by the Leadore Ranger Station.

The Leadore Ranger District contains the Eastern flank of the northern Lemhi Range.
The Bear Valley (lower) Equestrian Campground has 6 tent and trailer compatible sites and accommodates campers with stock. It has water, feed troughs and hitch rails.
10 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings on Big Eightmile Creek.
This historic pass through the Beaverhead mountains has long been a travel route between the Lemhi River Valley and Horse Prairie.
The upper campground has 6 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, and also has vault toilets and potable water. Fishing nearby in Hawley Creek, and in the reservoir.
The lower campground has 4 sites and also has potable water. Fishing in Hawley Creek, and in the reservoir.
Lemhi Pass, a National Historic Landmark, is in Beaverhead and Salmon National Forests, and marks the boundary between Idaho and Montana.
