BE CAREFUL: A harmful algal bloom is present at Panguitch Lake and White Bridge Campground. Algae in the water may be producing dangerous toxins that can make humans and animals sick. Be aware the bloom is also flowing downstream from the dam.
If you visit the reservoir:
- Don’t drink the water
- Do not swim or water ski
- Avoid areas of algae when boating
- Clean fish well and discard skin and guts appropriately
- Keep animals away
- Know how to recognize a harmful algal bloom

White Bridge is nestled along Panguitch Creek . The campground is in close proximity to several excellent attractions such as Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and Cedar Breaks National Monument. Also nearby is Panguitch Lake which has approximately 10 miles of shoreline and is ideal for year-round fishing. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area including hiking, mountain biking, ATV riding, and horseback riding.
The campground is situated high on the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 7,900 feet. Panguitch Creek runs alongside the campground. Cottonwoods line the creek and aspens, pinion and juniper dot the sagebrush-covered landscape.
White Bridge offers several family campsites. The sites along the creek have natural shade, while the sites across the loop road are more open and equipped with picnic shelters for shade. Flush and vault toilets are provided, as is drinking water and a dump station.
OHV/ATV's including street legal are allowed in the campground for ingress and egress only (to and from your campsite to the road). Joy riding in the campground is not allowed.

Open 24 hours/day, Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., no generators during that time, open late spring to late fall. Check in: 2:00 p.m.; Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
- Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Campfires in developed fire pits only
- Fireworks are prohibited
- Dogs must be on leash
- OHV/ATV use prohibited in the campground
- Maximum length of stay: 14 days
*ATV’s must be trailored at all times. Please refer to the Dixie National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map for the area’s you can ride.
Overnight Use:
