Types of Recreation Passes
America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes are a suite of annual and lifetime passes that provides U.S. citizens and visitors an affordable and convenient way to access Federal recreational lands. Up to 100% of the Pass program's proceeds are used to improve and enhance visitor recreation services.

Cost: $80.00
Covers entrance to Fish and Wildlife Service Refuges and National Park sites that charge an entrance fee.
Covers use of Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and Forest Service sites that charge a standard amenity fee.
Covers Corps of Engineers recreation areas that charge a fee, consistent with their separate fee authority.
Valid for 12 months from the month of purchase. Expires the last day of the month punched.
Per-vehicle fee sites: Admits the non-commercial vehicle and any accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle.
Per-person fee sites: Admits pass holder and up to 3 people (for a maximum of 4 people).
Cost: $20
Covers entrance to Fish and Wildlife Service Refuges and National Park sites that charge an entrance fee.
Covers use of Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and Forest Service sites that charge a standard amenity fee.
Covers Corps of Engineers recreation areas that charge a fee, consistent with their separate fee authority.
The pass may provide a discount on some expanded amenity fees such as camping, highly developed boat launches and swimming sites, and guided tours.
Valid for one year from time of purchase.
Per-vehicle Fee Areas: Admits the pass holder and any accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle.
Per-person Fee Areas: Admits pass holder and up to 3 people (for a maximum of 4 people). Golden Age Passes continue to be honored.
The Tennessee Valley Authority was not included in REA. They will accept Interagency Senior Passes; however, they will not sell the passes.

Eligibility: The pass may be issued to U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S., regardless of age, who have been medically determined to have a permanent disability that substantially limits one or more major life activities.

Per-person Fee Areas: Admits 4th grader and up to 3 people who are 16 and older (for a maximum of 4 people). Anyone else under 16 is free of charge.
Cost: The pass can be issued free of charge to a volunteer who individually accrues 250 volunteer hours. Passes are non-transferrable.

The Annual Decal is only valid at unstaffed per-vehicle fee areas for open topped vehicles. At staffed recreation sites the Interagency Decal alone will not be sufficient for entrance or use; a valid Annual Pass must be shown.
Annual Decals include the vehicle license number to which they are assigned and cannot be peeled off without destroying them, so they are essentially non-transferable.
