Capulin Ice Caves Trail

The Capulin Ice Caves trail is 0.5 miles long. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking

The trail located 5 miles east of Taos on Highway 64. It parallels the Capulin and La Sombra Campgrounds and is ideal for skating with cross-country skis on a flat trail. Parking is available at the campground entrances.

Trail is only ½ mile and goes through a Campground; also, parking is poor in addition to campers. Trail 109 is accessed adjacent to the last camping site in Capulin Campground on Highway 64 East.

There is an ice cave at the south end of Capulin Campground.
