Buffalo Pass Trailhead: Trail #1101 - CDT Access
Trail #1101 is located on the summit of Buffalo Pass and is a great multi-use trailhead. To the north, it leads you into Mount Zirkel Wilderness for hiking and horseback riding. To the south, mountain and dirt biking is very popular on the dirt roads of the single and double track trail and it connects to the 1134 trail. Foot and bike travel can also continue to Base Camp Trailhead or to the 1102 trail to Fish Creek Falls. Fishing is readily available at numerous high alpine lakes scattered throughout the area and the trailhead is located in the Steamboat Springs Area.

Directions
Directions from Steamboat Springs, travel 2 miles north of Steamboat Springs on Routt County Road 36, Strawberry Park Road, then 13 miles northeast on Routt County Road 38, Buffalo Pass Road 60. Trailhead is at the summit.
