Routt Divide Trailhead

This Trailhead serves as an access point for the Routt Divide Trail No. 1108. This 7.1 mile trail travels high above Buffalo Park along the dividing ridge of Gore Pass and gives spectacular views of the neighboring Sarvis Creek Wilderness Area. This trail can also be accessed at its northern terminus at the end of Forest Road 303.2 C.

This Trailhead is typically accessible early June-October. Contact the Yampa Ranger District for up-to-date conditions.

Getting There

Directions

From Oak Creek, go North on CO-131 15.0 miles until US-40. Turn right and take US-40 East for 14.0 miles. After 14 miles turn right on to Forest Service Road 100 (Red Dirt Road). Continue down FS 100 for 11.0 miles. The Trailhead will be on the right.
