Water Activities

Opportunities for boating in the Bighorn National Forest are plentiful. Grab your boat and enjoy a summer day on one of the many lakes the Forest has to offer. A current AIS decal is required for all watercraft (inflatables 10 feet or less in length are exempt) prior to launching on any water in the state of Wyoming. Visit the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) prevention program

If you're looking for the best place to fish or wondering what species you might catch there, visit the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Fishing Guide.
