The Bighorn National Forest dump stations are open during the warmer months of the year. They are weather dependent and close before the first hard freeze in the late summer or early fall.

There are two recreational vehicle (RV) dump stations in the Bighorn National Forest. One is located off U.S. Highway 14 at Burgess Junction and one is located off U.S. Highway 16 at Powder River Pass.

Site Closed
Burgess RV Dump Station is conveniently located on U.S. Highway 14, the Bighorn Scenic Byway, just northeast of Burgess Junction.
Leigh Creek RV Dump Station
Site Open
Due to low mountain temperatures, the Leigh Creek RV Dump Station is expected to close for the season on September 22, 2025. It is located off U.S. Highway 16, the Cloud Peak Skyway.
