Timber Sale Beginning Near Musselshell Meadows: Expect Travel Delays and Road Closures

In late May/Early June, the Thin Mussel Timber Sale will begin. For Forest visitors traveling to the area, road reconstruction, and log hauling will occur on the 505, 505b, 505C, 5049, 5150, 5150-A, 5150-B, 5150-C, 5150-d, 73031, and 73032 Roads. For people traveling to this area, delays of between 2 to 4 hours and road closures are anticipated. We urge caution when traveling into areas where timber sales are active both because of the delays and closures and the presence of heavy machinery in the area.
