Sinclair Lake

Sinclair Lake is a very easy access lake with a simple gravel boat launch and a dock for swimming and fishing. Trees shade the picnic areas allowing for a nice and relaxing experience. This lake provides good fishing opportunities for both the beginning and skilled anglers. Though a small lake which can be quickly paddled across in a boat, this is a great area to be able to get out and have some fun without a whole lot of work.

Gas powered motorboats are prohibited.

Getting There

Directions

Sinclair is one of the easiest accessible lakes in Boundary County.

  • Travel north on US 95 from BFRD for 29.8 miles
  • Turn right onto Moyie River Road, go 1.6 miles
  • Turn right at Sinclare Lake entrance

Fishing from shore is limited, but accessible from the dock or by boat. Fish species found in the lake include Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Perch, Bluegill and Channel Catfish.

There are two picnic sites with fire rings.

There is a fishing and swimming dock near the parking area. Very popular lake for swimming.

Gas powered boats are prohibited on Sinclair Lake.
