This project will manage the road system to bring the Grouse Bear Management Unit into compliance with the Forest Plan and the 2011 Motorized Access Amendment.

The Grouse Bear Management Unit is located northeast of Sandpoint, Idaho. It is surrounded by the Kootenai River Valley to the north, US Highway 95 to the west, and the Cabinet Mountains to the east.
