Round Meadow Cross-Country Ski Area Nordic
We’re incredibly fortunate to have 20 km of cross-country skiing right out our back doors on public lands. Thanks to our friends at the Glacier Nordic Club, Round Meadow trails are regularly groomed and open to all. Check the Glacier Nordic Club grooming page for updates.
Respect the groomed trail, and follow these simple trail courtesy guidelines:
- Stay in your lane: At Round Meadow Trails, there is a classic ski lane to the right, skate ski in the middle, and foot traffic on the left margins. Be aware of the tracks you leave behind, and consider if that will be hard to ski over for someone behind you.
- Dogs are welcome at Round Meadow: They must be under voice control. If they are apt to chase wildlife, be aggressive, or run away, have them on a leash. Please keep dogs off the classic ski tracks.
- Dog poop: no one likes to smell, look, ski, or step in it. Shovels and dog waste bags have been made available at convenient locations. Please use them.
- Yield to slower skiers and use caution on downhills and blind turns.
