The Bozeman Ranger District is located on the northwestern section of the Forest and encompasses much of the recreation areas near Bozeman, MT including Hyalite. North of Bozeman, the district also manages the Bridger Range with Bridger Bowl Ski Area. As an active community, Bozeman has several trailheads just minutes from town and is part of a larger effort to connect city trails to county and mountain trails.
