White River Aspen Management Project
The WRNF is proposing to conduct vegetation management activities (mechanical and prescribed fire) within forest stands that contain aspen. Management would improve the resiliency of aspen forests to disturbance agents and improve wildlife habitat.
Location Summary
Treatments could occur in forests containing aspen that area within Forest Plan Management Areas 4.2, 4.23, 4.3, 4.32, 5.12, 5.13, 5.4, 5.41, 5.42, 5.43, 5.5, 7.1, 8.21, 8.25, and 8.32.
