Hicks-Pikes Peak Allotment Grazing Authorization

The legal notice of the draft decision notice has been posted again in Arizona Silver Belt. This will begin the 45-day objection submission period, in compliance with the agency?s Project-Level Predecisional Administrative Review Process (36 CFR 218 Subparts A and B). The proposed action for the Hicks Pikes Peak Allotment project is to authorize livestock grazing in a manner that is consistent with the Tonto National Forest Plan and maintains or improves natural resource conditions, as identified in the EA.

Hicks-Pikes Peak Allotment is located on Globe Ranger District, 8 miles north and northwest of Globe, Arizona in Gila County, adjacent to the Salt River.
