Districts
The Forest is organized into five Ranger Districts. Each district has its' own management staff led by the District Ranger located at the Ranger District office. The Forest Supervisor's office, located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, houses various program managers and staff who provide direction and support for the Districts in managing forest resources.

Coeur d'Alene Nursery
Welcome to the Coeur d'Alene Nursery. The nursery's mission is to provide quality seedlings for national forests in northern Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota, develop the best possible methods for producing quality seedlings, and work with cooperative forestry to demonstrate successful tree growing practices and share new technology.
