Topographic maps are the official maps used to chart the lands of the Wayne National Forest.

Topographic Maps

Topographic maps show Forest Service ownership as well as other physical and cultural features. The map sheets are also known as 7.5 minute Quadrangle Maps or Quads. Each unit contains several sheets within the map grid. Scale: 1 inch = 2,000 feet.

Purchase Topographic Maps

To order a topographic map, contact the Forest Service office that is located in the vicinity of the maps location. Orders can be taken over the phone or in person. Please specify the name of the map sheet. Each map cost $8. There is a charge of $3.50 per order for mailing. Sales are by cash, credit card, check or money order payable to the USDA Forest Service.
