Mirror Lake Highway Recreation Corridor
One of Utah's unique treasures, the Mirror Lake scenic Byway winds 42 miles through the Uinta Mountain so the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache national Forest. The Uinta Mountains are an east-west oriented mountain range, a trait shared by only a few mountain ranges in the world. Glacier carved lakes and picturesque U-shaped valleys abound. Recreation opportunities are abundant throughout the year. Camping, fishing, hiking, picnicking, horseback trails, ATV trails, scenic overlooks, snowmobiling, cross-country ski trails, fall colors, and hunting opportunities are all present.
Visitors who use State Road 150 (Mirror Lake) and do not use recreation facilities, are not subject to fees. All passes are fully transferable between the Mirror Lake Highway Recreation Corridor and the American Fork Canyon.
The following passes are available for purchase at the Kamas office, Evanston office, and the Bear River Ranger Station (open seasonally). Self-service fee tubes are located in various areas along the highway. Annual passes are not available at the self-service fee tubes.
