Many Campgrounds on Tiller Ranger District Remaining Open for Fall and Winter Camping -- Boulder Creek and Dumont Creek Campgrounds are Closing for the Winter Season

Effective October 31, the Boulder Creek and Dumont Creek campgrounds on the Tiller Ranger District, Umpqua National Forest, will close for the winter after the 2:00 p.m. check-out time. All other campgrounds on the Tiller District will remain open unless closed off by snow.
In addition, Cover Campground will no long have water available for guests after October 31 but will remain open throughout the year. If visitors need water, they are advised to either bring their own or get water any day of the week from the spigot in front of the Tiller Ranger Station before going to the campground.
The campgrounds remaining open for use year-round include Ash Flat, Camp Comfort, Cover, Devil’s Flat, South Umpqua Falls, Three C Rock, and Threehorn.
