Temporary Closures on Marys Peak Weekdays Aug 22 – Sept 12

Corvallis, OR – Conners Camp and some of the surrounding area on Marys Peak will temporarily close on weekdays from August 22 through September 12 to protect the public during timber operations. The timber work is part of a forest restoration project designed to improve wildlife habitat.
Conners Camp, located about 5.5 miles up Forest Service Road 30, serves as a picnic area and trailhead for the East Ridge Trail on Marys Peak. The closed area includes Conners Camp, the lower portion of East Ridge Trail (#1324), southern end of Forest Service Road 2005 (including foot and bicycle traffic between Conners Camp and FS 2005-116), and the gravel parking lot on FS 30 across from FS 2005. These areas will be open on Saturday and Sunday, Aug 27 – 28. Travelers taking FS 30 and FS 3010 to points beyond Conners Camp will not be impacted by the closure.
