Campgrounds

Shoshone National Forest provides a many campgrounds for you to choose from on your next visit.  Click on the link to each site for details.

Forest visitors are encouraged to call for current conditions.

  • For campgrounds on the Clarks Fork, Greybull, and Wapiti Ranger Districts, call the Cody office at 307.527.6921.  
  • For campgrounds on the Washakie Ranger District, call the Lander office at 307.332.5460.  
  • For campgrounds on the Wind River Ranger District, call the Dubois office at 307.455.2466.

Note: All open and close dates are approximate. Campground opening and closing dates are weather dependent and can vary by a couple days to a couple weeks. Visitors should call the nearest ranger district office for up-to-date information.
