Camping & Day-Use Rules

Camping rules for developed recreation areas:

  • The campsite must be occupied the first night
  • Camping equipment cannot be unattended for more than 24 hours
  • Quiet time hours 10pm - 6am (including generators)
  • Pets must be on a leash or otherwise restrained in the campground. Dogs are not allowed in the day-use area at Long Pool, but they are allowed north of the canoe launch
  • Visitors are required to pay within 30 minutes of occupying a camp site
  • Park in authorized areas only
  • Campsites are limited to 2 vehicles per site and 6 occupants (for double sites, the limit is 4 vehicles and 12 occupants)
  • Fires are only allowed in fire rings
  • No alcohol
  • No fireworks
  • Fee tag must be filled out including dates of stay and visible on dash or hanging from rear-view mirror
  • There is a 14 day limit on camping. 

Day-use area rules:

  • Day use areas are closed from 10pm - 6am, except for campers
  • Park in designated area only
  • You are free to look around the area for 5-10 minutes, but must pay if using facilities
  • No alcohol
  • No fireworks
  • Pets must be on a leash or restrained
  • Fee tag must be filled out including dates and visible on dash or hanging from rear-view mirror.
