Temporary Use Permits

The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is accepting temporary outfitter and guide permit applications. A limited number of permits are available on each ranger district for various activities including but not limited to: river boating and fishing, climbing, hiking, skiing and environmental education. River permits are only available in select locations, see the river temporary permit page for more information. Permit applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be reviewed on a case-by-case scenario. Any required changes to trip itineraries will be discussed with the applicants and a rationale for necessary changes will be provided.
