Snoqualmie Pass Visitor Center

The Forest Service Visitor Center is located inside the newly renovated Firehouse at Snoqualmie Pass. Shared with PassLife Workspace, evo Snoqualmie Pass Satellite Store, and Laconia Market, the building originally served as a storage facility for the Department of Transportation when it was built in the 1920s.

The name Firehouse is a nod to its later use as the home of Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue until their move to Station 291 in 2011.

During operating hours, Forest Service personnel will be available to offer information and answer questions about the area and its many recreational opportunities. In partnership with Discover Your Northwest, ranger-led interpretive snowshoe walks offered during the Winter season will be based near the Firehouse as well. Driving Directions:

Eastbound: Drive I-90 to Exit 52, stay to the right after you exit the freeway on to SR-906. Located across the street from Summit West, the Firehouse sits at the end of the first driveway on the left.

Westbound: Drive I-90 to Exit 53. Turn left on to Yellowstone Rd and continue under the freeway until the stop sign. Turn right on to SR-906 and follow it for about .5 miles, passing the DOT rest stop and Summit Inn on the right. The Firehouse will be on your right, across the street from Summit West.
