Saddle Creek Road Closure on the Bonners Ferry Ranger District
Release Date:
Bonners Ferry, Idaho (August 28, 2018) – The Saddle Creek Road #2455 on the Bonners Ferry Ranger District is being temporarily closed for the protection of public health and safety due to unsafe road conditions and flood damage that occurred in the spring. The washout was detected late this summer.
Forest engineers are assessing the damage and determining available repair options. For efficiency, the work will be combined with road work needed in the Smith Creek drainage. Due to the short construction season, this work will likely be completed in the spring of 2019. For additional information on this closure, please contact the Bonners Ferry Ranger District at 208-267-5561.
