Concession of National Forest Recreation Areas Up for Bid

Bedford, IN – (October 31, 2012) The Hoosier National Forest is currently advertising a concession opportunity for three popular recreation areas:

Hardin Ridge Recreation Area,
Indian-Celina Lakes Recreation Area, and
Tipsaw Lake Recreation Area

All three recreation areas include campground loops and day use facilities with picnic areas, beaches, and boat launch facilities with parking. Any interested bidders should visit the facilities or contact the Forest for a “show-me” trip.

The prospectus was issued November 1, 2012 with a due date for submitting applications of December 15, 2012. The prospectus and associated appendices are available at www.fedbizopps.gov (solicitation number AG-52B1-F-12-0003) and on the Hoosier National Forest website at www.fs.usda.gov/hoosier.
