Buzzard Roost Lookout Tower
Buzzard Roost Lookout Tower once stood at the location of what is now the Buzzard Roost Day Use site. Here is a view from the tower in 1965.
Bill Coomer was the towerman for Buzzard Roost for many years. Here Bill is shown in 1959. He retired in 2000 after 40 years of service but still has many recollections of his years as Buzzard Roost towerman.
Here the Buzzard Roost Tower is being torn down in 1973.
