Motor Vehicle Use Designation Change

The Huron-Manistee National Forests proposed a change to the Motor Vehicle Use Designation. This change would include OHV/ORV use on Forest Service Roads where local law also allows OHV. This proposal brings OHV use into alignment on all National Forest lands in Michigan (all three Michigan National Forests: Hiawatha, Ottawa, Huron-Manistee).

Updated Maps and Proposal Documents

Updated printed Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUM) maps are available after October 1, 2021 at all District Ranger Stations and the Supervisor’s Office.
