View and print from your computer (PDF format - click links below)
A full-size version of the MVUM is 36” x 44” and cannot be printed on conventional home printers, but may be printed on a large plotter. Many local copy shops, engineering and survey businesses can print the map. Any portion of the MVUM can be printed legibly on 8 ½” x 11” paper using home printers. Using PDF viewers/readers, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can “Print Current View” to print the view on your screen.
Because the legend and tables for Seasonal and Special Designations and Dispersed Camping are necessary for successful interpretation of the MVUM, they should be printed whenever a portion of the MVUM itself is printed.
Accessing Adobe Acrobat Web Tools
To access Adobe Acrobat web document tools when viewing MVUM files:
Move the cursor to the bottom of the MVUM.
This toolbar will appear and provides options to -

- Show previous page;
- Show the next page;
- Go to a specific page;
- Zoom in (fixed);

To read text and labels more easily, use the Zoom tool until it is clearly displayed then move the cursor from the toolbar to the map and it will change from an arrow to a small hand. Left-clicking will "grab" the map and allow panning to different locations.
