TRACK Trails on the Forest
The Cherokee National Forest has the only TRACK Trails in the state of Tennessee, provided by the Kids in Parks program - a free, national program that connects families to the outdoors through hands-on exploration.
Our TRACK Trails are self-guided trails with smartphone e-adventures turning any activity into a fun-filled, discovery-packed adventure. TRACK your adventures and earn prizes along the way!
We currently have three TRACK Trail Adventures on the South Zone of the Cherokee National Forest:
- Chilhowee Recreation Area - easy, one-mile trail
- Rhododendron Trail - easy, 1.25-miles trail
- Indian Boundary Lake - 3.20 miles trail
