Sundance, WY, June 18, 2024 – The Bearlodge Ranger District (BLRD) located in northeast Wyoming on the Black Hills National Forest, is seeking applications for outfitting and guiding services on National Forest System (NFS) lands.

The BLRD is soliciting interest from businesses and individuals wishing to offer new outfitting and guiding services for hunting big game (deer and elk), hunting mountain lions, and hunting spring turkeys.

Proposals for a recreation special use permit to provide outfitting and guiding services will be accepted by mailing or delivering one hard copy and one electronic copy on a USB drive to:

Emailed applications will not be accepted. Applications will be accepted until close of business, August 19, 2024. Material submitted with applications will not be returned unless specifically requested.

An open house will be held on July 18, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. for the public to attend a question-and-answer session to obtain additional information. The open house will be hosted at the Bearlodge Ranger District Office, 101 S. 21st Street, Sundance, WY.
