We've Remodeled! Introducing the new Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest website

The Apache-Sitgreaves website, along with every other forest website in the Southwestern Region, has had a big makeover.

The new look and feel of our website now aligns with the look and format of the Forest Service headquarters website and is consistent with the web design standards other federal websites. We hope that these changes will make our websites more easily identifiable as a trusted government website, more accessible to visitors, and will provide a better experience when viewed on a mobile device.

Where did everything go?

One goal of this redesign was to make information easier to find. Of course, that means we had to shift some things around a bit.

The right column of each page will continue to display alerts and notices, as well as pertinent related information such as fire danger.

The most frequently visited and important information will be linked right on the homepage. This includes recreation pass information and information on managing the forest. When necessary, important fire information will display here as well.

Recreationists will want to open the "Visit Us" tab in the top menu to display links to recreation sites, maps, passes, and alerts and notices.

Under "Managing the Land," you can find fire information as well as our resource management page, which contains information on topics such as livestock, grazing, timber sales, and endangered species.

And "About Us" is where you'll find news and events, as well as forest contact information.

So go ahead and poke around a bit! We hope you're able to find everything you need to have a safe and successful experience on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.
