Interagency Pass
Planning to visit a national forests and wondering "Which Pass Do I Need?" To make the best choice on which pass to purchase, you should think about your recreation plans for the next year. You have options like simply buying a single day pass, a multi-day pass, or even an annual pass that covers a forest or region.
If you plan to visit many different spots across the nation, an Interagency Annual Pass may be your best value. Additional Recreation Opportunities
Spend some time on the Chief Ladiga non-motorized multi-use trail. The trail is used for bicycles, hikers, strollers, roller blades, wheel chairs, etc. and runs in and out - through the Talladega National Forest (Shoal Creek District) for about 2.5 miles. Chief Ladiga Trail intersects with the Pinhoti National Recreational Trail. Both were named as Alabama Millennium Trails in 2000.
