Indian Creek Trail #1105


A trail that travels through William O. Douglas Wilderness to connect Indian Creek Campground along US-12, to Deep Creek Horse Camp. After crossing Indian Creek 2.2 miles from the trailhead, steep switchbacks climb to a plateau of meadows and lakes aptly named Mosquito Valley. 

From Deep Creek Horse Camp, the trail reaches this plateau after a steep rugged climb.

General Information

Directions:

Indian Creek Trailhead is access from U.S. Highway 12 to Indian Creek Road, forest road 1308 and then to end of road.  Access to Deep Creek Horse Camp and 1808 is Closed due to road being washed out.  


General Notes:

Indian Creek Trailhead has six dispersed camp sites, one outhouse, horse ramp, and hitch rails.  Deep Creek Horse Camp was washed out and there are no facilities.


Parking:

 Parking for six horse trailers and 12 cars.
