Middle Fork Trail
The Middle Fork Trail #5158 is 1.6 miles long. It begins at Forest Road #50066 and ends at Forest Road #50069. It climbs 1,492 feet from 6,929 feet in elevation to 8,421 feet. This trail is very nice but steep in places. Trail makes a complete loop passing a Natural Arch. Beautiful rock formations and many types of birds can be seen. This trail connects into the Left Fork Trail to form the complete loop. This trail also provides access to four popular rock climbing areas. General Information
Directions:From Fountain Green, turn west onto 400 South and travel approximately 0.4 miles. Take a slight left toward West Side Rd and travel approximately 5.6 miles. Turn right onto Freedom Rd and travel for approximately 0.5 miles. Take the 1st right (continue to Maple Canyon Road #50066) and travel for approximately 3.0 miles to Middle Fork Trail #5158 located on your left.
From Moroni, turn west onto 17200 North and travel for approximately 2.6 miles. Turn right onto West Side Rd and travel approximately 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Freedom Rd and travel approximately 0.5 miles. Take the 1st right (continue onto Maple Canyon Road #50066) and travel approximately 3.0 miles to the Middle Fork Trail #5158 located on your left.
