Visitors to the Kisatchie Ranger District for the purpose of OHV riding can utilize the Lotus Camp for day-use and camping. The Sandstone Trail has a connecting spur trail that enters the backside of the camp and allows visitors easy access from their vehicle to the trail. General camping, drinking water, flush toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings are available at the camp sites. Sandstone Trail use requires an additional $5 per operator fee.

Directions: From the intersection of I-49 and Highway 6 (Natchitoches), drive west on Hwy 6 for 4 miles. Turn left (south) on Louisiana Hwy 117 and proceed 16 miles to Forest Highway 59, Longleaf Trail Scenic Byway. Turn left (east) on FH 59 and go 4.1 miles to the camp, a signed location on the right (south)
