Wauna Viewpoint Trail (#402)

This 1.8 miles trail climbs along the side of Eagle Creek valley and offers views of Table Mountain and the Washington Cascades. It begins at the Eagle Creek day use area and ends at a powerline tower. Power lines are part of the view.
At mile 0.9 is a junction with Gorge Trail #400.

General Information
Directions:From Portland, OR: Travel east on Interstate 84 to exit #41. Take a right at the end of the off ramp and drive past the fish hatchery to the Eagle Creek Trailhead/Day Use Area. The trail starts across the suspension bridge.
From Cascade Locks, OR: Travel west on Interstate 84 approximately 3 miles to Bonneville Dam exit #40 (there is no westbound exit #41). Turn left at the stop sign, go under the interstate and then turn left onto the eastbound freeway entrance. Travel east approximately 1 mile on Interstate 84 to exit #41. Take a right at the end of the off ramp and drive past the fish hatchery to the Eagle Creek Trailhead/Day Use Area. The trail starts across the suspension bridge.
