Lake Owen Boat Ramp

The boat ramp is located on Lake Owen, close to the Lake Owen Campground and accessible from the Medicine Bow Rail Trail. There is a ramp, but no dock. Fish species present in the lake include brook trout, cutthroat trout and rainbow trout. Fish stocking occurs during the fishing season by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD). Beautiful views provide a serene experience for a day of boating, fishing or simply relaxing in the area.

All watercraft, except for inflatables 10' or less in length, must have a valid Wyoming Aquatic Invasive Species decal. For additional information on boating and fishing regulations, contact the WGFD in Cheyenne or Laramie.
