2022 IDF&G Sheep Collaring Project

The purpose of the proposed action is to allow access to test sheep for the potentially life-threatening Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae (MOVI) bacteria. There is a need to use helicopters to conduct operations.

Location Summary

Helicopter use is proposed in the Salmon River Corridor, including portions of the designated Wild and Scenic corridor, Gospel Hump, and Frank Church Wildernesses.

Districts: Salmon River Ranger District, Red River Ranger District
